46 students and teachers from Krannert School of Management of Purdue University (USA), Tias Nimbas Business School of Tilburg University (Netherlands), GISMA Business School (Germany), and the Central European University Business School (Hungary) participated in an 8-day “Shanghai Internship Program” from August 28 to September 4, 2011 organized by SUFE’s Continuing Education School (SCE). The project was part of the Central European University’s “China Study Tour”.

As part of the program, students attended two lectures given by foreign teachers concerning digital-company management and policy management. They also were instructed by SUFE professors about China’s legal system, corporate social responsibility and China’s financial problems after the global financial crisis. In addition to these lectures, students visited the Logon Architectural Design Company and the Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Company to learn about the situation of overseas companies in China. Students also took a tour of Shanghai and visited the Shanghai World Expo.
